Scan from printer to computer

I installed my new HP 5510 Wireless printer, I can print okay. I could not install the printer to be my scanner so I could scan from the printer to my computer. How do I do that?

Well, first, what caused you to not install the scanning part? The printer would have all the software and instructions to configure it.
