Scan & translate a document?

Hi I have some instructions that I need translating. Once I scan the document how can I then translate? Is their software I need?

If you used an OCR to turn into a document then you could use a translator (eg Google Chrome - if you put it on a website).

So, you have a hared copy only of the document? I'm assuming this, but you haven'T said. What language is it in?
There used to be a program called textbridge pro years ago.. which had a built in OCR - Optical character recognition.
Once scanned, it would read the page and recognise the characters. Once you have a soft copy of the document, google translate can translate entire documents.

Hi will check out OCR on my printer. The languages I was referring to were Arabic & French.
