Hello,
I have a functioning Windows XP PC which is used as an light office workstation. I have a small annoyance which I can't solve.
When I turn the PC on from the hibernation, and want to scan something, scanner is not responsive - as if it is not powered (but it is visible in Device Manager as usually). I can even calibrate it within Control Panel Scanner option, but can't use it neither with the proprietary Canon software, nor via TWAIN import (for instance, in Photoshop).
When I restart the PC, everything functions OK (until the PC goes to the hibernation).
It seems that the scanner driver isn't asociated or loaded properly after power-up from hibernation.
I can't/won't upgrade to Windows 7 because the printer and scanner devices don't have the drivers for OSs later than Windows XP - and they are functioning fine.
Any thoughts?
