I recently purchased an HP Desktop 7E48LSP (Product Number 1J7P7AA#ABA) running Windows 11. I have an HP Scanjet G3010 I would like to connect to it. I have tried everything I know, but so far, I have only been able to get it to scan in a picture format (jpg, etc). It's supposed to scan to pdf. Also, it's supposed to scan 35mm slides which it will not do.
The HP website says they do not support drivers for use of the Scanjet G3010 in Windows 11, but one might be able to tell the software drivers that it is some other operating system. As I said, I've tried a few of these with no luck! Just wondering if anyone has any tips, workarounds, or trustworthy driver suppliers for this situation?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Solution
If HP hasn't seen fit to write Windows 11 specific drivers & software (the Windows 8.1 drivers & software should work just fine but there are no guarantees there) then there's nothing you can do. There are no other suppliers of drivers.
Precisely what happens when installing the older drivers? I've found that sometimes drivers will not fully install because of windows driver signature enforcement. So if you go through the Recovery menu to Advanced Startup Options and select #7 to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement, sometimes that will allow a driver to more fully install and might support all of your functions.
