Scratched Marks on Heatsink 1 on Asus ROG Maximus X Hero

Hello,

I just bought the Asus ROG Maximus X Hero online but unfortunately I found a scratch mark on the heat sink 1 along the top of the motherboard and I am quite unhappy seeing it like that, as it sticks out.

Anyone know how I can remove these marks? or maybe put something over it to cover it?

If anyone has a spare heat sink of the same model they no longer use, will happy to buy it from you.

Dealing with brushed aluminium...or anything brushed metal is a pain to deal with. Perhaps see if rubbing alcohol deals with it since it looks like finger oils got onto the affected area and is not a physical scratch on the heatsink.

I tried rubbing it already, and it doesn't come off so I am sure it is scatch marks
