Question Screen flashing and random apps opening ?

Hello all, I have a PC running Windows 7 that is having an issue. The screen is flashing/flickering and random applications are opening and closing when trying to type anything on my keyboard. When I have the on-screen keyboard open, the Windows key is highlighted. I thought maybe there was a problem with my Windows key being stuck so I tried using a different keyboard but I'm having the same issue and the Windows key is still highlighted on the on-screen keyboard.

In addition to trying a different keyboard, I tried scanning with Advanced SystemCare and Avast Antivirus. Also, I have restored my computer to a previous date with System Restore, but none of this worked. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

No it's a desktop computer
