Screen flashing grey when I turn on my pc

Hi I've recently built my new PC and since I've built it when I turn the PC on it will start flashing black and white all over the screen for about 30 seconds then restarts and its fine after that does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Haven't tried yet it only usually happens when I turn the pc on after its been off for a while so I'll leave it overnight then try it

Yes did some research and found out it's called screen artifacts so I wrote another thread to see with a bit more info to find out what's causing it

The thing is it doesn't happen all the time so Its hard to tell if it's the gpu
