Screen Flickers when launching games?

Pretty much what the title says.. when i launch any game from Rainbow Six siege to League of Legends the screen will do about 3-5 flickers in about 3 seconds then everything is fine while i play the game.

My question is if this is normal or not? With my new monitor the PG279Q, it never happened on my last 1080p monitor..

Does it have something to do with g sync syncing up or something? Because it is only when the game is launched into full screen.. if its in window borderless the flicker does not occur.

its probably a quirk with the monitor switching resolutions is ur desktop resolution different then the one you use to play games?

both 1440p so wouldnt have to switch res

well all i could think is going into full screen to full-screen is weird with the monitor is it causing u very many issues?

nope no issues at all just got it last week though
