Screen freaks out badly, when playing games

For some reason my monitor starts showing these weird horizontal thick lines and starts freaking out. Now I checked everything, the cables, the monitor. The cables weren't loose and the monitor is pretty new, but whenever I play a game, like WarThunder, it starts crashing and doing those things. I do have Vsync on to lock the FPS (that's what I heard it does) but still crashes.

Now my hardware is a bit old and not that good, but it does it job with games;

CPU: Intel Pentium G3250 3.2Ghz Dual Core
GPU: Asrock H81M-DG4
OS: Win7 Home Premium 64-bit
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series

Now the drivers are the latest and stable drivers, so I am really desperate for help

Oh really? It worked perfectly before though. And no I haven't used the integrated chipset, do I have to delete the graphics driver and then try running on the driver windows gives?

The symptom you describe suggests the problem is with your GPU. The black lines appear because the pixels in that array cannot be displayed, which suggests the GPU is having trouble processing the information. This could also be because the game updates are becoming too much for the GPU to handle.

Try stress testing your GPU before you uninstall its driver. Use FurMark to do so.

Removing the GPU driver would be recommended. As much as possible, you want to remove any possible conflicts. You don't have to use the generic display driver that is installed with Windows. In fact, I would strongly suggest you use the most current driver for the integrated chipset, just to remove that possibility from the table.

Tried it, and I now know that my graphics card is busted.... Thanks for the help
