Question Screen freezes and occasional blue screen after new CPU

So about a month ago I decided to upgrade my PC. I bought a new graphics card, RAM, CPU, water cooler, everything.

Since then, I've had occasional screen freezes and blue screens. I updated my mother board, scanned for needed hardware updates. Everything.

if there's anyone who can help I'd really appreciate it.

Maybe useful info:

Went AMD to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070. I uninstalled all the old AMD stuff and downloaded my new graphic card drivers

Went from i5 to i7 9th

Updated my motherboard, I think.

I've never done any kind of ground up PC building before, so I'm guessing I just missed something basic.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Include the age, make and model of your PSU, not just the wattage.

Latest BIOS for your motherboard? Which BIOS version are you on right now? Which version of Windows 10 are you on?
