Hello !

A few days ago my computer suddenly started having some screen glitches/freezes at random times.

Sometimes it is stuck in a screen glitch and freezes like that (see pitcure) and i need to hard shutdown, and somtimes it just quickly gltich and reboot by itslef.

When i reboot the laptop, it just happen again after some minutes, but if i let the pc shut down for a few moments i can use it again, sometimes for several hours, without any problems.

The problem here is that i can't seem to consistently reproduce the behavior as it appear to happen at random times, but i noticed it happened often when watching twitch and gaming. (Ressources heavy tasks ?)

The computer is equipped with a AMD R7-4800H CPU and a Nvidia GTX1650 GPU.

I already tried removing display driver with DDU and installing them back, but nothing changed.

Thanks for taking the time reading this, and i hope anyone have an idea of what might be going on.

ps : sorry for any english errors, it is not my main language.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Try and connect the laptop to an external display and see if you can get display. Try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD) and then manually reinstall with the latest driver sourced from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

As stated in OP, i already tried a clean drivers install and it did not change anything.
Also, i sadly don't have any external display at my disposal (my tv died last week).

Update : today i did some tests using different operating systems, and it also happened there (i tried ubuntu and archlinux).

I guess this means that it's probably an hardware problem, but i have literally no clues about what to look for, or what i can do to try and get some hints.

I already opened the laptop, but nothing catched my eyes, however i only removed the cap because i want to be sure it's needed before dismantling it.
