[SOLVED] Screen going black and locking me out

Over the past 4 days or so my computer has been crashed at least 4 or 5 times at random intervals. The screen goes black and drags all the audio with it but the computer doesn't actually power down nor does the monitor turn off. It almost looks like its the graphics card overheating but the fans have been spinning as well as every other fan.

To give an example I monitored the temperatures last night while in game and the GPU only peaked at 54°C and it didn't crash while in game. I closed the game, went onto youtube while still watching the temperature and within a minute it crashed at 46°C. Sometimes it'll happen within half an hour of the computer booting up and playing something.

I've tried updating all my drivers and blowing out the entire case and every component and nothing seems to work. I can't even tell if its my actual GPU or even my PSU that's causing the problem.

All my parts are only 2 years old. I ran the command prompt and checked the event log but I don't even know what I should be looking for. The only critical errors are the ones from me forcing a shutdown.

So I setup my system to print out the minidump files and initiated a crash through whocrashed to see if they would print and they did. I had both OCCT and GPU-Z running and then launched a game and it crashed within a couple of minutes but because of that I had to force shutdown again and there's no new minidump files on whocrashed

Okay so I ran the render test on GPU-Z and the second the GPU temp hit 60C it went black and locked me out.

I just looked at my spec list and noticed that my monitor was put under graphics. So just to clarify I have only one GPU, assuming that’s what you meant
