So I bought a MSI GTX 1050 TI a couple days ago, and I've installed it, but now on my screen it's getting kinda wavy, kinda like the heatwaves you would see above a bbq, grill, fire, etc, this is my current build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/allbrainnobraun/saved/#vie... except with 1050 ti, any suggestions/diagnostics?
Monitor is NEC Opticlear MultiSyncLCD 1770GX 1280x1024

Have you tried hooking it up using just a DVI-D cable? From what I see online, it looks like your monitor should be able to support using a digital DVI connection. There seems to be a white Dual-Link DVI-D port on the bottom of the monitor near the blue VGA (D-Sub) port. It could be some issue with the DisplayPort to VGA adapter. If you used DVI, you shouldn't need any adapter.

First, check if your monitor is on fire. If it is, you should find some way to put that out. : D

Otherwise, I agree with k1114 that it may just be screen tearing from not having V-sync turned on, particularly if you're getting really high frame rates with the new card, compared to what you had before.

Also, maybe a photo of the screen showing the "waviness" could help. "kinda like heatwaves" is kind of a vague description. One other possibility I could think of might be that the card were overheating or something, causing artifacts on the screen. Do you see this effect when everything on the screen is stationary, or only when scrolling pages and watching videos and such? I take it you're using a digital DVI cable to connect the screen?

What's DDU? and I'll try rollbacking the driver, I reseated the plugs

I've tried taking a video of it before, but it doesnt show up in video well, it's when scrolling, in games, and stationary, there isn't really a triggering that I have noticed, and I am using DisplayPort to VGA adaptere to connect to my VGA monitor
