Hi!
The issue has been plaguing me on four separate NVidia GPUs I've had, but one and the same screen (it's old, but great otherwise).
What it does is it goes black for a second (like when switching resolutions and then shows 'HDMI' like when selecting or detecting input signal. It will do so, for example, when I open YouTube video and the video switches to 1080p. Sometimes it does so when I open certain websites, or even when sometimes ads on these websites are of specific kind.
My native resolution is 1920x1080 so there shouldn't be any switching at all. I have only one screen.
The issue does not appear on DVI. It is certainly not random.
Relevant specs:
Windows 10 (been happening on Win 7 too)
Msi GTX 1070
The screen is Iiyama ProLite E2409HDS (24").
Is there anything I can do to stop it 'switching' displays like that? It only has one HDMI input port anyway, I have no idea why it insists on switching.
One more detail that might be important: the sound (via HDMI) is interrupted as well.
Thanks for any tips!
