Actually I don't know if its screen tearing or some like wobble. It might just also be reallly terrible screen tearing for vertical lines in game to look like they are waving. I have tried every form of Vsync, in game, Nvidia control panel, Nvidia inspector/rivatuner, I have locked the fps to my refresh rate (144hz), half 72hz, 60hz, 120hz, I have tried triple buffering. Still there is terrible screen tearing on every monitor. I'm on a laptop, Gigabyte XE5, which an hdmi to an lg 1080p 144hz monitor. both screen get screen tearing even if I take the hdmi out and just use the laptop on its own. Theres no temp problems, doesnt seem to be any memory leaks. I have reinstalled Nvidia driver, and even windows at this point and it has still not gone away. As far as I can tell its not in my head because the game PC I used on this same monitor not 2 months ago had no screen tearing issues, although that was with display poirt so I could use gsync unlike now. Not sure what to do at this point.

Can you walk us through these? Did you use DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform? You should manually reinstall your drivers in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

As for your OS, where did you source the installer from? What OS are you working with?

Would be a good idea to see if your laptop is pending any BIOS updates. Before you remove the GPU drivers/checking for update for the OS.

Yes thats the method I used to reinstall the drivers, after that didn't work I wiped the drive and downloaded a fresh copy of windows 10 from from the microsoft website on another pc and made a boot drive with rufus. The bios is up to date.
