Hi sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum in advance! My screen keeps turning black randomly and Im not sure how long its gonna last until it does so again so ill keep it short.
As of two days ago my screen stopped turning on as normal. Now it keeps dimming gradually until it turns black(the monitor remains powered) Im able to get the screen back up if i turn it on/off upwards of 10-20 times. As i did now. In fact it usually stays on for 10-20mins after that, and then I have to do it again. Im wondering if this may be a problem with my video card? I would think it wouldnt be though since...if it was wouldnt the screen not turn on at all? I didnt build my computer myself so Ill probably need to look up a video to watch on the youtube app of an old console to see how to disassemble in case it is.
Not sure if this affected it but ive kept my computer on sleep mode for months instead of shutting it off, and the dimming of the screen has been going on for months as well. Its just now that its gotten this bad though. Thanks Id appreciate any advice!
