I bought new memory 2 days ago. Today the screen was freezing and when I turned off the machine, not even the bios showed up. Both screens said that they were going into sleep mode.
Thus, I removed both memory stick, tried the old ones and the system booted up normally. I think I found the error.
I removed the old ones and put back in the new memory sticks and everything seems to be ok, because the system booted up normally.
The thing is troubling me that this happened all of a sudden after a few days of the purchase of the RAM.
I still have warranty on the desktop PC and also the memory sticks.
Thus I have three questions:

- Is there a way to stresstest or check if there is an issue on my side?
- Should I bring my whole machine just in case to the retailer?
- Why did this happen? What's the explanations?
