There was a noise coming from my windforce graphics card and it sounded like a screw undone inside it, got all the way down to the PCB and was still hearing it when shaken. Turns out it's from inside the dvi 1 and 2 silver box thingo. Any way to get in there??

You mean under the metal EMI/RFI shield that covers the DVI connectors? Like on this card?

If there is a way for such a part to get in, then you should be able to get it out. Look for any gaps and shake the card in all directions until it falls out of the opening, if any. If there is no opening, a few things are possible. It could be a nut/screw from inside, that should be inside, and that has come loose. It could be a nut/screw that should not be in there, but accidentally got in during manufacture. It could also just be a piece of plastic that broke off and is rattling inside, which would not be as bad because plastic won't cause a short if it's bouncing...

Usually, in addition to the connector being soldered into the board the shield is also soldered down, so it is quite a job to remove it and you risk damaging both the connector and the board. Tough spot to be in, my friend. Can you put up pics?
