Scrubbed Paint Off My Case (How To Fix?)

Hey everybody. Recently, I tried getting some gunk out of my case and I accidentally ended up scrubbing off some of the paint on the inside. It's a really nice case and I'd like to repair the damage, if possible.

Just about the middle of the case, I think. Unfortunately, you can see it quite clearly even with the cover on.

You could try to find a silver spray paint at a auto parts store. In fact, I bet you could go to a body shop and get them to match what you have.

Automotive touch up paint in a rattle can. Some paint companys can match what you have from a sample.

Well, so much for that one. I went to three different body shops and none of them could find a color match for my case. I suppose at this point I'll either have to re-paint the bottom of the case an entirely different color, or cover it over with a decal/lights. Any other ideas guys?

Thanks. I've decided to just let it go, at least for the time being. In the end, it's not really worth it to be fussing over right at this moment. I hope to someday fix it either through a case mod, or by following up on your suggestion. Until then, I've decided I'm content with how it is.
