Hello,
I'm building my first pc, this is what I have (I' ll overclock):
-MSI z370 gaming pro carbon
-Intel I7 8700k (delid)
-Asus RTX 2080 Dual OC
-BitFenix whisper M 650W
-Intel SSD 660P 1TB
-2x 3TB 7200rpm HDD in RAID 1 (so my data it's safe)

After some researches I ended up with these four coolers as the best options. I want to aircool since unless you use a 280mm rad air it's better and wayy cheaper.

These are the prices in Italy, what would you recommend me and why?
-Scythe Fuma rev. B: 55€
-Scythe Mugen 5: 58€
-Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH edition (double fan): 60€
-Noctua NH-D15: 90€
-Noctua NH-D15: 80€

I don't really care about loudness (unless it's like having an helicopter in your case), I care just about cooling performance and price to performance.

Thanks for your help!

Solution
Depends on the usage. The Fuma and Mugen5 aren't upto the same ability as the D15S, so if I was looking at a serious OC or high thread cpu and heavy thread usage workloads I'd be looking at the D15S. For a more medium OC and general gaming either will work fine.

Much will also depend on your choice of cases. Some prefer the giant box cases like the FD define r5/6 which fit anything, some are more drawn towards smaller cases like Phanteks p300/350x/400s which barely fit the D15S at 160mm but won't fit the D15S if you add a second fan to the front and have ram issues.

If I was looking at mATX or mITX builds, I'd be for sure looking hard at the Fuma, it's height making it ideal for those tiny cases.

Personally I'd get a list of...
All of those are supet quiet, so that's not an issue. The Fuma is the shortest, the Noctua the tallest, so case dimensions and cpu cooler height can be an issue. Also, being as short as it is, the Fuma can have issues with Ram clearance, so if you have any kind of heatsink on the ram, there can be issues with slots 1/2.

I don't have a case and ram yet, so that's not a problem. Which one would you pick?

Personally I'd get a list of cases you would like, only 2-3 finalists, then worry about the cooler and what fits, taking into consideration the OC/workloads the cpu will be under.
