Hello, i have a problem with my car mirror camera android device, the device has been using a 200gb sandisk micro sd card fine for almost an entire year, but i started getting a ''damaged SD card'' error message and the device is telling me to format it, if i click yes nothing happens and the sd card is still damaged, the weird thing is that whenever i plug it in to my computer, all my data is fine and working. I tried quick formatting the card AND normal format ( the long one) and i still get the same ''damaged sd card'' message. i own 2 devices with the same sd card on 2 seperate cars, and i get the same errors. Please help

I assume this means you put the same SD card in each car and got the same response. Which means the SD card has a "bad sector". SD cards are oddly formatted very much like hard drives, with virtual tracks, sectors, and clusters. The good news is that they're not terribly expensive.

You can try chkdsk /b on it. or insert the SD card to a Windows computer and run Windows Error-checking tool to scan for and repair bad sectors in the SD card.
But these are temporary fixes for an aging SD card. The more you use it, the more "sectors" will fail until the whole card is rendered useless.
