Question SD Card not detected ?

Hey guys and girls, a while ago i bought a Samsung 64gb and was working great until a week when for some reason it stopped detecting it. I tried using it on a different platform and still not detected while different cards work on the phone.
I tried plugging it in the PC to format it but to no avail.
My question is, is there a program to test/fix it or is it broke for good ?

What other platform did you use to detect the card?

Connected to PC you were not able to format or it didn't detect the card? What PC is this what OS?

If phone detects other cards and not this one chances are the SD is broken for good. However, sometimes data corruption might lead to the card not being detected or the drive actually loses the drive letter due to data corruption.

What about disk management on the PC? If disk management detects it with a yellow mark it might indicate a problem with drivers.

Also sometimes some applications lock/write protect the SD and that makes it undetectable.

I used it on a psp with an adaptor where it wasnt detected either.
When i connect it to my pc it is shown in My Computer as a disk as a USB Drive with no storage while in disk management its blue 60bg raw (healthy primary portion)
When i try to open the disk it lets my try to format it which ends with "Windows was unable to complete the format"

Well this is also one of the things that happens to SD cards where the partition is lost, that is the partition on SD card gets deleted and then the SD card is actually full of unallocated space.

You should, however, be able to format it which prepares it for the OS (Windows file explorer here) to see and use it.

See if you can assign a different partition/drive letter to it through the same window in Disk Management. If it is responsive to drive letter change it might be possible to format and use it after all.

I can change the driver's letter but after that it stats to format and immediately gives me the error "Windows was unable to complete the format"
