So basically I was looking at egpus. Of course usb is far too slow, but would I be able to get away with an sd card egpu? Also if I did use a usb how much would be bottlenecked % wise. (same question again but with the sd instead of usb)

Solution
An SD card GPU? I'm not aware of those existing, and for good reason.

If you think USB 3.1 is "too slow" for a GPU, then an SD card is numerous times worse!

Most (maybe all) eGPU's are USB Type-C Thunderbolt - but the docks themselves are ridiculously expensive, before factoring in the cost of a GPU.

I'm reading those words, but they don't really go together.

Please give us more detail of what you are trying to do. Much more detail.
