seagate 1 tb external hard drive does not recognize in computer.

i was watching the movie from my seagate 1tb external hard drive on my laptop, during that time i was opening device manager and suddenly after few second my hard drive did not show neither on the computer nor on the disk management and I disconnected it from laptop. But, when i install this hard drive at the very first it is shown on the device Manager only like “USB Mass Storage Device” after few seconds it disappears. I fallowed this below steps on this links: http://support.seagate.com/kbimg/flash/213055/213055_EN.HTML & http://support.seagate.com/kbimg/flash/213055/213055_EN.HTML and uninstalled its software, after that when I installed its “device driver software was not successfully installed” “please consult with your device manufacturer for assistance getting this device installed” massage comes from system. How can I solve this problem???

Try it on linux machine might work u might turn on drive encryption on seagate external hdd
