Which one of the above is better for gaming like fallout 4? And also which one is more reliable? I read from the other forums that the seagate one is faster but less reliable, is it true though? i have to upgrade because my hdd is an old 320gb hdd with a read and write speed of 72mb and it's causing stutter to the game. Although there is another choice which is a 1tb toshiba hdd but there's no model number on it. Thanks for the help

Hey there, rayzaldy.

When talking about gaming, there's not much that the storage device can contribute to except for faster loading times and faster in-game loading screens. Basically if you'd like to find out the differences between those models, I'd suggest that you check the technical specs of the drives (you can check out the WD Blue drive's specs here: WD Blue drive - just check the Technical Specifications sheet (PDF) for more details). If they are pretty similar in terms of read/write speeds, there's not gonna be a really noticeable difference between them when loading a game for example.
So what you're left with is reliability and budget. I'd recommend that you choose the drive that suits your needs and budget best...

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Is there any difference between the new and the old version of the WDC 1TB WD10EZEX because i suspect that i'll be getting the old version though. and how about the MTBF? i didn't see any on the technical sheet

I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by the old version of WD10EZEX. The WD10EZEX is a 7200RPM, 1TB WD Blue drive. If you mean getting WD10EZEX instead of WD10EZRZ, the WD10EZRZ model is again 1TB WD Blue HDD but it's a 5400RPM drive.

As for MTBF, We no longer measure the reliability of our hard drives using Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). For further reference you can check this out: How drive reliability is measured and the MTBF of WD drives.

Please let me know if there's anything else. :)

I'm talking about these

I'll be getting the one on the amazon page. is there any difference between those two?
