[SOLVED] Seagate 4TB NAS HDD seen as 1.6TB

This week, one of the 4TB HDDs (Seagate NAS ST4000VN000) I had in a QNAP NAS decided to give up.
While the NAS was not able to see it anymore - and it even did not start with it mounted, I tried to check the HDD on my PC via an external USB enclosure.
I had some issues while cleaning the RAW partitions - which I did with DISKPART, I was able to change its file system to GPT (as MBR is limited to 2TB) and format it but now, no matter what, it reports it as having only 1678GB capacity.
Any ideas on what to try next?

Thanks, that was the issue.
However, I connected it on one of my MB SATA ports and checked it with Seatools... it showed an unrecoverable error and just suggested replacing it with a new one.
Seems the HDD is done! 🙁
