Hi there hdd geniuses.

I have a 6tb Seagate Barracuda that now has an issue with no power coming through. The HDD does not spin up at all when connected. I have read lots of threads and apparently there are things called TVS diodes on these pcb's that blow when overvolted. My question is this.
Can anyone point out those diodes on the pcb image below please?

This HDD is actually used in an original Microsoft Xbox so as such the data on it isn't vital. But if I can get the drive powered up again by removing/replacing the diodes then fantastic.
The HDD was working fine. I was experimenting with powering it from a different connection (the DVD power connection) in the console via an adapter and that is what caused the no power issue. I now believe the adapter is faulty and to blame. Nothing went bang nor was there any smoke or odour etc.
If the drive is dead for ever then so be it and I will have to buy a new one.
