Seagate and WD RAID?

I have a 500GB Seagate HDD and I want to get more storage. Is it possible to run a 500GB seagate and a 1TB WD drive together in raid 0? If I cant do this, is it possible to transfer all my data from one drive to another?

Just add the 1TB as another drive.

So if I put the drives in raid 0 i will only have 1TB? shouldn't I have 1.5TB? because 1 + 0.5 = 1.5? or is that not how it works?

No. RAID 0 is not additive like that.
2x the size of the smallest drive.
In this case, 2 x 500GB = 1TB.

If you just want/need more storage, just plug the new 1TB drive in.
You'll have the 500GB drive + the 1TB drive.
They will be two different drive letters. Fully accessible.

You're wasting money, for a teeny bit of convenience.
Multiple drives and drive letters is very, very common.
