Question Seagate Backup Plus Hub 8TB seems to have reset itself

An 8TB Seagate Backup Plus Drive filled to the brim one day decided to present itself as if reset: With all the files that show up when first plugging it in and for some odd reason one single folder of mine, although empty. I ran Diskdrill on it but it couldn't find anything and I can't find anyone with a similar experience. Does somebody have an idea how I could get all my data back? The HD is just a few months old. Unfortunately it took me a few weeks too long to by more storage for an actual backup... would be grateful!

do there is nothing on the drive? are you sure you have backup to it?

I don't know if my files survived the purge, that's what I'm trying to figure out. Diskdrill didn't have any success as mentioned. Unfortunately I am sure that I do not have a backup for this disk.
