Thanks

The warranty expired, I dont have backups of this drive. So there is no way I can recover the data in it?
If the drive can't be read, either in its enclosure or stripped and installed like a normal hard drive, then software solutions are out. Software solutions are the only ones available to a consumer.
The other option is to send the drive to a data recovery lab. Good ones can cost over a thousand dollars and there's still no guarantee, so you'll have to decide for yourself how much the data is worth to you.
Unfortunately, the
only time to save your data is
before disaster happens. The time to buy a fire extinguisher is
before your kitchen is on fire.
Hopefully, you have nothing irreplaceable. Lots of people, sadly, get harsh lessons about what happens when you don't have regular file backups; it's a basic part of responsible PC ownership, no different than changing the oil in your car or the filter in your furnace. Any file that only exists in one place will eventually exist nowhere.
