Seagate barracuda 1tb hdd

As I have listed ..... is it good to buy fancy gate 1TB hard disc? Because when I search in the net there are many failing hdd coming up of seagate ......so am just worried ....will it work and is amazon a good place to buy it ??.....IN INDIA
