Hello people ! by the i am very sad , because i just brought my seagate expansion 1tb hard disk drive. and then i completed the seagate setup. So, then i wanted to transfer my files they were about 270 GB i copy and then pasted it to the hdd. then the copying files started but it is very very slow the speed is about 2.70 Mb/second. and time remaining was written as 2 hours. so i waited for 2 hours but then also i did not finished and perhaps it was just completed 4 or 5 GB files. so i thought to just put 1 file at a time but then also it is not transferring !! please somebody help me from this issue thanks in advance !! :??:

Nearly 4 years later and just want to point out that this is STILL absolutely true. I've never seen such problematic drives, and it's apparently all of the external portable ones, regardless of capacity . . . 1 TB, 2 TB  ( had two of those ), and 4 TB, *all* problematic. If you want your drive to be stress-free, do yourself a big favor and forget that they're available everywhere, forget that they're competitively priced and can often be found on sale, pay a little more, and get something else. I learned this the hard way over the past 4–5 years.
