Seagate External HDD error due to I/O device error?

Whenever I connect my ExtHDD, Windows 8 shows me the there is a problem in the drive, click here to fix but I can access to drive but today whenever I am trying to copy from internal to external drive, I keep getting this error

Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

My Seagate drive is very old and has a capacity of 1TB of storage.

It is not showing my external drive neither SeaTools.

Try it in another system & if still no success then hdd is gone.

You mentioned having tried SeaTools, if this was the SeaTools for Windows version, then you may be able to see the drive better by using the SeaTools for DOS version instead. Here is where you can find SeaTools for DOS, and here is an instructional link in case you need help with how to use it.
