I am facing a problem to connect a Seagate Momentus 500 Gb 2.5 inch internal HDD (7200 rpm) as an USB external drive using Terabyte 2.5 inch USB 2.0 HDD enclosure.
But it not detects the drive in My pc or in disk management. I connected the drive in all differnet USB ports and in another pc's, but it not showing. when the drive connects drive motor spins and the light of the USB enclosure board is on as dim and not blinks.
In the drive there is Win7 OS and some other data.
I am using Fujitsu Lifebook A series laptop i3 processor and win 7.

What could be the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Most 7200 rpm drives need an actual power input (up to ~10 watts at initlal spinup)that might exceed what the enclosure is capable of providing...(most external 7200 RMP drives run off of little AC adapters, where 5400 RPM drives are often supplied by USB power itself..)
