Seagate Freeagent 1.5tb failure

I have a Seagate feeagent Desk 1.5tb external drive. I plugged it in to a new Comp using Windows 7, previously it was Vista, and the drive worked fine. Then it started clicking and then went dead. I olugged it back into the old computer and it was not showing in my computer. I looked in Disk Management and it ishowing as corrupted and only 4gb. I have figured that I lost the partition but I am unable to recover data because what gets scanned is the 4gb. Any help would be appreciated

'Clicking' sounds on a HDD usually indicates mechanical failure. If the data is valuable then a recovery service may be able to retrieve the data. This is a high priced option.
