Seagate FreeAgent Desktop

I have a 320 gig seagate. its an external hard drive called the free agent. I have the reinstalled the drivers for it, and its not being read by my computer. I have no idea where to go next, their help page is very confusing. please help . thanks.

if this is a new drive, you might have to initialize it, i dont know what system you have since you have not listed it, but here are some generic instructions for xp:

go to start
right click on my computer
click on manage
then click on storage
then click on disk management

from here you should be able to see the drive, right click it and add/assign a letter and path to it
