Question seagate laptop hdd using in desktop ,giving sounds every 10 mins

hello , i have seagate laptop hdd, never used in laptop , its a friends -
ST9320320AS fw sd03 , he donest know about any sounds when i asked about it .
every 10 mins or so , i hear trrrr - its a 2 sec sound . then drive would be quite , then exactly after 9 -10 mins - it repeats this sound .
i have also disabled apm for this drive through hdparm software . also disabled antivirus avast .
still this happens , also i have tried to see whats using this disk in resource manager - nothing came up when trrr sound came .
please give me some suggestions whats happening and to be done . thank you

How is the drive mounted in your system? Power, data and orientation wise? A drive vertically mounted can exhibit noise when accessed. It can also happen when the drive is full/isn't receiving ample power from your PSU. Which leads me to ask what the make and model of your PSU is and it's age.

Use CrsytalDisk and check the health of the drive. How old is the drive again?

thank you , the power is by sata power cable , sata data cable ,orientation is horizontal label facing up . drive is a laptop hdd ,i am using in desktop ,its good , no problem with it , have 200gb free ,5400 rpm ,date of drive is much old - july 2008 .its a oem drive.
psu is a generic local product zebronics, a cheap 450w ,soon will be getting cooler master 450w .
the drive is not a os drive , its just for storage .
by the way i have used it alone with no add ons coming from its rail -same sound with 10-20 mins intervals happend .
usually in the same rail 2 case fans are powered which are 2 x 80 mm fans . but its a lapdrive ,many said it wont use 12v rail,it powers by 5v .
crystaldisk says 4 sector pendin , uncorrectable sector 4 . caution . even before this when drive showed good with no sector thingy - it had same trrrr 2 secs with these intervals of 10-20 mins , otherwise disk is good .

in a software the disk shows as basic gpt --anything to be done with it ?

this drive have recovery ntfs partition 517mb , fat 32 partition 78mb,other -0 byte , then main drive which i have space to fill in is in 200gbs

i did try with other drives cable , the 10-20 mins interval is kinda same .. trrr sound do come with other data cable i tried. but its not all the time --why that interval of 10 mins or 20 mins

Try it without a data cable attached.
