Seagate ok to buy from again?

Hey I haven't heard from Seagate for a while or anything about their issues and a store nearby is selling some 1tb/1,5tbs for a good price so I'm wondering if they're ok to buy for normal (non raid) use

After their firmware,etc problems last year, I haven't personally bought a HDD from Seagate. I probably won't get a Seagate, except perhaps as an OS drive. It's been WD and Samsung for me now.
