I have a seagate portable drive usb 3.0 1Tb. All was fine until like a week ago when out of nowhere it just wouldn't show up anywhere on my mac.. no changes made to the mac and Im 99.9% sure the mac hasn't been damaged since then, to be honest i wouldn't normally be that bothered about it and would just buy a knew one but its the fact it hold pretty much everything i had and i know you should always have more than one for back up but i was literally in the process and then this happened. Please can someone help its not showing up on anything not disk utilities obviously not the desktop nothings unchecked in preferences which would hide the device. weird thing is the HDD lights show up however it now flashes after about a minute of being plugged in.
