Currently I have two 80 gig seagates on raid 0. WOuld switching to two Maxtor drives on raid 0 give me faster results ? Ive heard alot of bad about Maxtor and how much they like to fail ect.. plus these seagates I have are soo quite! Ive had them for two and a half years now on raid 0 and not ONE crash ! And Ive heard people with Maxtors fail within 1-6 months. Im not sure what to do here

If it works, leave it. The speed difference will be BARELY noticable. I've had horrible luck with Maxtor 80GB drives, but I think I just kept getting drives out of a bad batch (if that were possible). Anyway, stick with what you have if it is working.

Maxtor disgraces the six letters that make Matrox.
