Seagatte dashboard and hidden files/folders solution needed

I have just bought a Seagate 6T external backup using the Seagate Dashboard. I checked some files and folders to make sure that my things were being backed up and found that the hidden folders were not. I did a search online and it turns out that SD doesn't back them up. They are important to me.
I like the dashboard because I need to backup sections and folders from several different drives and like to be able to check the backups now and again. Windows will only do entire drives and many others cannot be read easily without actually doing a restore with their software.
Seagate does not seem to backup hidden files even when they are UN-hiden and if it would it would remove them after re-hiding.
Can anyone suggest a tweak to make these hidden files back up? I'd prefer not to go RAID unless forced to.

If the program won't do it, simply copy the files manually to the drive or write a simple DOS xcopy command to copy the files from a batch file.

Hello kahoona. That is correct, Seagate Dashboard does not back up hidden folders.

Note that Seagate Dashboard does not back up certain files, including:
• The contents of the Windows directory
• The contents of the Program Files directory
• System files
• Hidden files
• Files on detachable USB drives

We looked for a tweak in Dashboard but there isnt one that will backup your hidden files.

Since Seagate Dashboard is not suitable are their other programs that will do a backup with selected folders from several drives and copy the hidden folders? If I could use other, dependable software I could still keep the drive.
The work involved to locate all of the hidden folders on each drive and backup manually would defeat the purpose of having backup software.

If you want all Windows' hidden files also backed up as well, why not simply make a total system image with Macrium Reflect, AOMEI Backupper, Easus Todo Backup, Acronis True Image, or even Clonezilla? (They allow complete copying of all data/partitions from the drive in question)

Casper, Macrium Reflect, Acronis TrueImage...

I use Macrium Reflect exclusively.

I do not need to image 6Tb of drives, only a handful of files from them. Also as I understand it I can't look at imaged drives and easily spot check to make sure it is backing up properly. I am guessing that I need to make a raid setup. It is a shame about the Seagate but that is life. Thank you all for your help.

Macrium Reflect allows imaging of specific folders.
And also allows mounting an Image, and it appears as just another drive letter, for you you peruse or extract a single file.
