Question Sealed Playfirst Game - will it need activation

Hi,

I am looking to buy an OOOOLD favorite game of mine from ebay - there are several sealed CD-ROMs for sale BUT...

Would I need to *activate* my "new" game? Asking because PlayFirst does not exist anymore, one can't connect to their server to activate anything.

Should I buy or should I not?
