Can you recommend a paid search engine and FTP software for PC?

What you'd expect from a "paid Search Engine" that is not provided by Google / Bing / Yahoo / etc? What you'd like to pay for - no ads? More relevant results?

On PC, I am using WinSCP as FTP client, other people like FileZilla, even plain Windows Explorer.
