Searching Through Other Hardrive Is Slow

Hello, I have recently upgraded from and HDD to and SSD and my OS is now on my SSD, but when I search for say a game in my HDD from my SSD it is extremely slow, is this just a given or is there something I can do to increase the speed of searching items?

Is this your perception because the SSD is much faster? Maybe the HDD is an older model which is inherently slow (SATA I or SATA II). The SATA III HDDs are comparatively faster than SATA II.

No, Windows even said it would take longer to search through the second hard drive.
