Can anyone confirm these have a click sound on booting up? My last PSU didn't have such a sound, so i just wanted to make sure this is normal for the Seasonic Titanium Prime PSU. It's just a single click on power up!
Power supplies have a NTC resistor to limit inrush current when they turn on. To avoid continuing incurring losses from that after the PSU has powered up, high efficiency PSUs bypass it with a relay. If what you hear is a sharp click on power up/down, that's just the relay closing and opening.

Thanks folks! It doesn't bother me, and it works great, i just didn't want it to be the start of a "problem", as i'll saying goodbye to my old PSU shortly!
