Who is it who thought they should just label it ATX 3 and not ATX 3.1? That's confusing labelling for a power supply that's supposed to be ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1 compliant. You would think their marketing people would at least insist on clearer labelling on the box and power supply itself.

$190 for a quality 1000W PSU that will last at least 10 years is not something to put as a con, it's the one component of your system that most people will use for 10 years.

^This! And this is a great PSU, grabbed one earlier in the year for $150 on sale. Well worth it. Running a 12900KS and a 4080 Super with no power issues. Always get Seasonic and always happy with them.

I have been using the old ATX 2.1 focus GX gold 850W for my last rig, and seasonic being basically the only brand I build PC for my friends with, never have a complaint except for the price.

Somehow a review of Seasonic PSU is as boring as it could as you can't find any major cheaping out or design flaw with them anyway...

Just out of curiousity, I have been paring my old 850W with their 12v 2x6 90 degrees cable now, but in this PSU it seems only the non 90 degrees cable is available?
