Hi guys,

I have recently built a new rig from scratch. The thing is once everything is built in, the seasonic 520w does not start. I take it out and jump it with a clip.. And the it starts. Again, reassembled, but to luck.

Desperation on the way, i put my old 500w thermaltake in... And magically works fine.

I put my New seasonic on my old rig and works fine. Dont know what to do anymore. I would appreaciate any help.

i5-7600, msi z270 gaming m3, 8gb corsair vengance, wd 256gb pcie, evga gtx 1060, seasonic S12II.

It is an amd phenom II x3, with an ASUS M3A78, the same video card, a kingston ssd and 8gb kingston ram.
Thanks!

I would breadboard with just the CPU, HSF, PSU and a speaker and see what response you get. and see what beep response you may get, or if the PSU does not start at all.

Additionally are you using different plug sockets / surge protectors for each rig? Sometimes surge protectors or sockets can disrupt different PSUs. So try doing it all from the same, known working socket, and without a surge protector if possible.

And being as they put a lot of effort into this, and they effectively would be explaining the steps that I would take, I would refer you to this:

Hi guys. sorry for the delay but it took me sometime to figure it out that the 2-pin speaker/buzzer was interfiring with the PSU while connected on MDB. Therefore the PSU works great and took out the buzzer finally.

Thank you all again. Regardss!!
