Seasonic PSU help

Hello everyone I'm going to be buying a GTX 1070 soon or wait a while for prices to drop.
On newegg right no the seasonic m12ii 620w Bronze is $59.99 and if I use a code it drops down to $50 USD. On the other hand the Seasonic G series 550w Gold is $69.99.
I plan on gaming and when I'm done my brother will then use it to game so the PC will be on for a long time. I need help on deciding which one to go and if it's worth paying $20 more for a gold PSU that is 70 Watts less. I know that they big are modular but I can't seem to decide. All replies appreciated thanks

I use the 650 G it's a very good power supply and the 620 is also a good power supply the modular means nothing to me all it takes is a little cable management.
I would get the 620 and call it a day that's a good buy. Both have a 5 year warranty.

Agreed, the Seasonic G is a much better unit, so if your budget allows, i'd go for it. 😛

Having the gold certified is just an ease of mind even though it won't make a HUGE impact thx for the replies you 2

Remember, just because a power supply has an 80+ rating, it does not mean it is a good unit. 😉
