second build. wtf

ill keep it short n simple for now.
I built one comp before. no problems. building second one.
installed win8 ran couple days. then got black screen.i had installed using external hdd
went to install ubuntu via bluray/dvd drive ubuntu kept freezing install screen and the comp would shut off
thought mobo was no good and replaced. instal screen froze.
swapped out to a reg dvd drive. froze......wtf lol im new at this stuff.

got ubuntu unistalled. tryed installing win8. freeze diff times. installed win7. froze once on install. re install. it worked. froze on setup. restarted got to user login. froze. actually got to win7 desktop in safe mode once. opened up help typed 3 letters. froze. now keeps freezing various unstances in windows boot. on logo. before logo comes up. jyst an arrow. tryed 1 ram stick in diff spots. 2 in diff spots. tryed ram from other computer. same thing. put hdd in other computer installed n ran windows fine. only thing left is the processor. I checked and all pins look intact n none damage.

ok......im really confused. took cpu out. blew on in. references my nintendo days. git into memory diagnostic check. memory checked out fine. restarted. im currently installing network card and graphics card drive. im scared to restart now. is there any. program I. an use to. heck my system before I restart. its connected to internet n everything is working 20 minutes into it

Computer worked for 3-4 days. Downloading n surfing.

Win7 was working fine Woke up to frozen.
Restarted and couple minutes random freeze. N that keeps happening.
Installed win8.
Froze on first install attempt.
Reinstalled fine.
Got to desktop used for 4 minutes froze.
Restarted twice froze on boot.
Third time restart got just to time and date screen and frozen.

Not really but since it worked something broke and at this point I would suspect motherboard.

I had run the memtest right before I had win7 workin. N I believe it all passed.
