Second Display Issue

I just plugged in my vizio tv to function as another monitor, but it doesn't go to fll resolution on the vizio. I want to set my monitor as the main desktop so i game on it and then be able to tab over to the second and use it while gaming if need be. How do i adjust the resolution and set the second monitor up.

And edit from there ? If you haven't tried that ?

I've already done that. Its set to 1080p and everything, but the display doesn't stretch all the way across the screen.

On the "Multiple Displays" did you choose "Extend desktop to this display ?

yea i have that all set up so its working but now the screen isn't taking up the whole TV, theres boarders on the top and bottom. I used setting in the tv to stretch it wider so theres no borders on the sides but i cant adjust the top and the bottom still

The TV and monitor are the same resolution. I Figured it out, it involved going into the AMD Catalyst Control Center and adjsting settings in there, not too complicated once i thought to look there.
